Making a list of Korean vocabulary for beginners

I've found that the biggest deterrent for using my Flashcards app was that it came with no content. So I decided to make a few lists of words for beginners.

I really like KANJIDIC's list of Kanji tagged with which grade Japanese students study them. So I looked for a similar list for Korean. I found this blog post that describes how to get the list of 6000 most common words prepared by some Korean government organization. I'll give the direct link to save time: Excel file.

Once sorted by occurrence, I looked at the different categories of words. Verbs seem much more meaningful than nouns to start. So I'll make a list of verbs first.
